Loving Yasmine: Robert & Yasmine (Beyond Granite Falls Book 1)

Loving Yasmine: Robert & Yasmine (Beyond Granite Falls Book 1) by Ana E RossRobert Carter survived an abusive upbringing from an alcoholic father to become one of the most brilliant and successful orthodontists in Boston.

Now, financially secured and emotionally stable, he’s ready to settle down and raise a houseful of kids to prove to himself that he can be a better father than the one who raised him. But the one woman he desires to make his dreams come true has other ideas about love and marriage.

As a little girl, Yasmine Reynolds fantasized about raising a family with Robert, her best friend’s older brother. Now all grown up, and in demand as one of the best divorce attorneys money can buy, Yasmine realizes that love and marriage isn’t the bed of roses she imagined it would be. She becomes even more cynical when a relationship she thought strong enough to weather any storm unravels before her eyes.

Is Robert’s unwavering love enough to convince Yasmine that Happily Ever After does exist, and free her to reveal the dark secret she has been hiding from him? Or will she allow her fear of failure to send this hunk of a man tumbling into the arms of another woman?

Amazon Reviews:

Robert and Yasmine have history and a love for each other that goes back years. Robert is ready to move forward, Yasmine not so much. This story about love, loss, deceit and trust unfolds when each person goes with their heart and not their head. The past plays a key roll in the future. Loved how the author kept the series going by including some of the original characters to give the story a foundation to grow on. This is another winner for Ms. Ross. – Michele H

Ana E. Ross is one of my favorite authors, and she has produce another excellent story that has a combination of love, family, sorrow, redemption, friendship, heartache, and happily ever after to create a masterpiece. I am so in love with Robert! Even though he has personal difficulties he still showers Yasmine with unconditional love! He deserves his happily ever after, as well has the resolution of those past demons that has haunted him and his sister. This was the ultimate love and family story!! Be ready for amazing displays of love, family secrets, and healing of the soul for more than one character!! Such a Great Read! – LadyK

Yasmine and Robert’s story is fraught with suspense, drama, betrayal and murder. This love affair was homegrown in that our hero has know our heroine since she was a child. He has loved her as a woman since she was fifteen but his moral compass would not allow him to solidify that love until she was well above the age of consent. Many unanswered questions were answered in this novel and most of all the love continued to flow. Excellent read! – Alice Yanes

As always Ana managed to deliver her best work with this book. I was loving Robert for a number of reasons. Robert knew he wanted to love and be loved by Yasmin, and man enough to know that he had to deal with his past first in order to face the future with certainty. I liked their journey to HEA, although I did get a bit frustrated with Yasmin. I also enjoyed the fact that the puzzle regarding their biological family was solved. Yasmin is relatable, she tends to feign confidence and assertiveness at her work place while deep down she is scared when it comes to matters of the heart, but Robert was patient enough to see her through. The book was heart warming, with a hero thats captivating. – Mamiki K

Yasmine and Robert have known each other for years. She has had a crush on him and he has truly cared for her. Her career and past experiences stand in her way of commitment. He is more than ready to commit but has psychological issues that get in his way. Will they be able to fight past their personal demons to establish a great future? This is well worth reading to find out how this author resolves their issues. She is a excellent author, but she doesn’t mince descriptions of loving encounters. Those who prefer not to read details would be best not reading this. Personally I keep buying her works and reread books of hers already on my shelf. – Daun
