With a British slant, this story takes on a lot, with various sub plots, and interesting characters thrown into the mix. Sean (the lead character in the book) is a tough, yet fun lead character with a enviable personality, wending his way through the land solving crimes in his unique way. Surely a character to get immersed in, and an author to watch, this novel is strongly recommended. – V.E.
I found Out of Time: The Dream Traveler Book 1 humorous at times and suspenseful at others. I had to chuckle when Ernesto Lee wrote about DC McMillan showing up wearing the wrong clothes and hairstyle. The author keeps this story exciting by the exceptional alteration of the past as the detective constable travels back and accidentally changes the original crime. This keeps the reader wondering if he can change it back, or even prevent the murder and if he would even want to. – JoJo Maxson
Go back in time in your dreams, use these time traveling powers to solve the cold cases that you are assigned too, sounds pretty straightforward, right? Well for Detective Sean McMillan it is, until he realizes that anything he might change in the past in his quest for evidence and clues can have a very real and detrimental impact on his present time. And that is before we even come to the ethical question of: Just because Sean has these powers does that mean he is meant to use them? – JA Armstrong
